Pear Tree is a small, award-winning caravan park and campsite on the edge of the Purbecks, located about five miles west of Poole (Dorset). We specialise in quiet and refined family camping holidays in the heart of beautiful Dorset - with your caravan, tent or motorhome.

where you can enjoy the quieter things in life, centrally located for exploring the Purbecks, Studland beaches and Poole in the heart of Dorset. We are about 5 miles west of Poole and 2 miles north of Wareham. Pear Tree is a continental-style campsite, laid out in terraces with many mature trees and hedges, providing privacy and shelter on your camping holiday.

We offer relaxing camping holidays in this beautiful part of Dorset and welcome you with your caravan, tent or motor home.

We also offer seasonal caravan pitches - if you particularly like the Dorset area and would like to have the ability to come here several times during the season - together with caravan, trailer tent and folding camper storage, if you would like to store your caravan, trailer or folding camper in Dorset over the winter..

In low season, fees for our caravan, tent and motorhome pitches are substantially discounted.

We are proud of the standards at Pear Tree as well as the peace, quiet & tranquility - particularly after 10.30 in the evening. So if you are looking for the ideal campsite for a peaceful camping or caravan holiday in beautiful rural Dorset (but within easy reach of Poole), without an on-site bar or entertainment, camping here in a caravan, tent or motorhome should be ideal for you.

Our caravan and motorhome pitches, as well as our tent pitches, are large and all but a few have electrical hook-ups.

We cater mainly for couples and families with young children on camping holidays in our picturesque, quiet and relaxing Dorset campsite.
