Caravan storage (Poole, Dorset)

We have a secure storage yard monitored by CCTV cameras where we store caravans, trailer tents and folding campers for customers; we have vacancies for 2008.

Generally, we store caravans etc for use at Pear Tree; the typical storage customer travels between 1 and 3 hours drive to Pear Tree and, for various of reasons, no longer wants to tow their caravan.

When you book a break, we tow your caravan to a pitch before you arrive and put it back in our compound when you leave; there is no additional charge for towing your caravan to and from a pitch.

As they are too large and difficult to manoeuvre, we do not store twin axle caravans.

Caravan, trailer tent and folding camper storage - costs

The full year storage cost for the 2008 is £500 including both summer and winter storage; as some customers want to take their caravans home for the winter we split the costs into separate amounts for the summer and winter - we will discuss this in detail before you make a commitment.

We ask customers storing their caravan at Pear Tree to use their caravan for a minimum of 16 nights over the summer - you pay the discounted pitch fees when you use the caravan. We always give storage customers the discounted fees.

If your caravan is stored with us you need to make a booking each time you want to use your caravan - generally 48 hours notice is sufficient; however, during school holidays you will need to book your break well in advance.

Our standard summer season is May - September. Storage customers can use their caravan in April when we are not fully open.

We do not sell caravan storage over the phone, since we feel that storage is a fair commitment from you. We prefer you to visit and review our security arrangements in detail before you make a commitment. We can arrange appointments in the winter when we are closed.

Winter caravan storage

If you store your caravan, trailer tent or folding camper at Pear Tree over the summer, we will definitely have space for it over the winter.

Sometimes we have space to store additional caravans, trailers or boats over the winter.
