Every summer and at school holidays, a large number of children enjoy their holidays safely at Pear Tree.
Campsite play equipment

We have a fully enclosed play park about an acre in size with a range of trampolines, volley ball net, swings, springy toys and a climbing frame.
As well as the play equipment, we also have a large football and ball games area.
The swings, climbing frame and trampolines etc are designed for younger children so, for their safety, teenagers are not allowed to use them.
Children's campsite facilities - safety
We are in a very rural area and the play park is fully enclosed - nonetheless it remains unsupervised and you are responsible for your children's safety and well being.
For your children's safety, and because of the numbers of children we have staying with us, we replace the trampolines with a volley ball net from the middle of July onwards.
Children ... and peace and quiet!
As the peace, quiet and tranquility of the site is important to everyone, we ask parents to ask their children to use the open space of the play park rather than play near other people's Caravan or Tent pitches.
Children's campsite facilities - Bikes and scooters
Young children have great fun riding bikes or scooters around the park and it is generally safe for them to do this.
However, to allow everyone to enjoy a peaceful evening we ask children not to use their bikes or scooters after eight o'clock in the evening.
Skateboards
Pear Tree caters for young children who because of their age can not use a skateboard safely.
Skateboards can be dangerous to others because of the child's lack of control. For this reason we do not allow skateboards.
