Tent pitches - Campsite (Poole, Dorset)

Most of our tent pitches are in a separate unspoilt semi-wooded area of the campsite - the pictures on this page were all taken in the area reserved for tent pitches.

The tent pitches are individually numbered and are allocated when you make a booking. Most of our tent pitches are fairly big and have room for large modern tents. You park your car on the campsite beside your tent. The campsite slopes gently, as you will see from the pictures on this page, the tent pitches are level.

Extra tents and gazebos on our campsite

We do not charge for gazebos or extra tents on your pitch. However, if you are intending to use extra canvas, you need to make this clear when booking so that we make sure you will have enough space to allow you to maintain the 3 metre fire safety gap.

The campsite slopes gently, as you will see from the pictures on this page, the tent pitches are level.

Campsite tent pitches with electric hook-ups

Electric hook-ups are now standard with the majority of our tent pitches.

We allow tent pitches on most parts of our campsite; however pitches 120 - 147 are reserved for tents. The Site Plan in the Brochure section of this web site will show you where the semi-wooded tent area is.

The tent area in our campsite is unspoiled and very picturesque. We are proud of our standards and work hard to keep them high.

Campsite tent pitches - peaceful and quiet

Those who stay at Pear Tree are always delighted with the peace, quiet and tranquility at the campsite. We ask everyone who stays with us to keep to similarly high standards when they are here. Our standards mainly relate to things such as: noise; keeping barbeques off the grass; windbreaks; commercial vans and dogs. Everything about the standards on our campsite is detailed in our bookings section.
